Welcome
Those of us who live in the New York metropolitan area are not so far away from the University of Idaho as we sometimes may feel. Just a phone call or email message or a planned event can help us reconnect to our Alma Mater.
Since my education in Moscow during the mid-'50s, the campus and area have changed dramatically – a lot for us to talk about when we get together.

NYC Chapter Recognized:
On March 17, 2008 the annual United Nations Model Dinner was held at the Churrascaria Plataforma restaurant in New York City. The evening was a big success. The attendees, who included ten local alumni and forty students from University of Idaho and WSC enjoyed the camaraderie as well as the dinner. This popular event has been held at this restaurant each spring for the last seven years and has always received rave reviews.
Our local NYC Chapter received an award for our continued support, from the Martin School of International Affairs.
The Idaho students represented Uganda during the week long event.
We hope you will attend this event next spring.
New York City Chapter Alumni visit on June 14, 2008 the Bronx Botanical Gardens.
Sixteen alumni from classes of 1955 to 2004 came with their families and friends, some with small children, by rail, subway, bus, and automobile.
We all agreed that the highlights were the massive sculptures by Henry Moore, the Rockefeller rose garden in full bloom and the Darwin garden in the Haupt conservatory.
